Old-school jazz heads and underground dancers approached us with a dream: to bring their community together in a fresh, modern way. “Kakure Boogie” became a multifaceted cultural activation—complete with live bands, vinyl DJ sets on wind-up record players, dance lessons, custom suits, and more. A celebration of Japan’s rich subcultures, the event hit capacity and sparked a powerful sense of connection and nostalgia across generations.

A multifaceted activation was created featuring dance lessons, vintage record players you wind up, talks, bespoke suit makers, live bands, and singers.
